Gammelgård
Glas Hens have always played an important
role at Gammelgård. First as a hobby for dad,
Knud, who finds raising poultry as relaxing and as
a way of getting a peace of mind. Hens later became
the first glass figures from Gammelgård Glas.
Mum, Ingalil, achieves her peace
of mind in the workshop, which has rapidly developed
into a firm creating hand made commemorative glass
figures as a speciality.
Gammelgård Glas is a
family firm in which the daughters, Camila and Catrine,
take part in the design and product development together
with their mother, Ingalil. Camila is a trained product
designer from Denmark Design School while Catrine
is studying to be an industial designer at Kolding
design school in Denmark. The whole family, young
and old take part.
