Bringe succes, rigdom og lykke til dit hus
Traditionen med at anbringe en pengefrø i hjemmet eller på arbejdspladsen, har sin oprindelse fra fjernøsten og er forbundet med rigdom og velstand.
Frøen anbringes i stuens vestvendte vindue med hovedet ind i rummet, som om den lige er ankommet. Man anbringer en mønt i munden på frøen, hvorved frøens kraft aktiveres og bringer fremgang og rigdom samt lykke og held til hjemmet.
Man bør undgå at sætte frøen i badeværelse, køkken eller soveværelset, da den i så fald virker modsat. Desuden skal man passe på, at hovedet ikke vender over mod naboen, da han herved bliver modtageren af den lykke, der ellers er tildelt dig.
Mønten bør fjernes om aftenen, for at undgå udmattelse af frøen, og derefter sætte den i igen næste morgen.

Bring success, wealth and happiness to your house
The tradition with placing a money frog in your home or at your work comes from the Far East and is connected with richness and prosperity
The FROG has to be placed in a west-facing window with its face into the room as it had just arrived
A coin should be put in the mouth of the FROG, thus empowering it; the FROG will then bring success wealth as well as happiness and good luck to the house
The FROG should not be put in a bathroom or in a bedroom as it would then have the opposite effect. You also have to be careful that the FROG is not facing your neighbour as the happiness which was meant for you will go to him
The coin should be removed in the evening, to prevent the FROG becoming exhausted and the next morning replaced in the FROG’s mouth.
