Høns har altid spillet en stor rolle på Gammelgård.

Først som hobby for far Knud, der siger, høns giver ro i sindet, og senere som de første figurer fra Gammelgård Glas.

Mor Ingalil får ro i sindet på glasværkstedet, der på kort tid har udviklet sig til et firma med glasfigurer til højtider og årstider som speciale.

Alle figurerne er håndlavede.

Gammelgård Glas er et familieforetagende, hvor døtrene Camila og Catrine designer og produktudvikler i fællesskab med mor Ingalil.

Camila er produktdesigner og tegner mange af figurerne til Gammelgård Glas.
Catrine designer smykker og Ingalil står for den tekniske proces. Alle er med – unge såvel som gamle.

Hens give you an inner peace

Hens have always played a big role at Gammelgård. First as a hobby for the farther, Knud, who says that hens give you an inner peace and secondly as the very first figure in the Gammelgård Glas production.

However, the mother, Ingalil, finds an inner peace in the glass workshop which in a short period of time has developed into a company specialised in glass figures for festival and all seasons of the year.

All figures are hand-made.

Gammelgård Glas is a family-owned company where the daughters, Camila and Catrine, design and develop products in co-operation with the
Mother, Ingalil.

Camila is a product designer and designs many of the figures for Gammelgård Glas.

Catrine designs the jewelry and Ingalil is in charge of the technical process. Everybody is involved in the process – both young and old.
